We are currently developing our first Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Strategy. The D&I Strategy will outline the steps we are going to take over the next four years to embed inclusion into our workplace culture. We want Council to be a great place to work for everyone and an employer of choice, as well as being representative of the rich and diverse needs of the Newcastle community.

We are currently developing our new Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2021-2025, which will help to guide and coordinate our efforts towards creating a more inclusive and equitable community, in line with our Newcastle 2030 Community Strategic Plan.
