Community Halls and Centres
COVID-19 Update Effective 1 March 2022 - City of Newcastle Community Halls and Centres are open for Regular Hire
- This is with the following requirements;
- Use of the QR code for checking in is no longer required
- Masks are no longer required but are recommended if 1.5m personal distancing can not be achieved
- Capacity restrictions are lifted
- Casual Hire will recommence as of 1 November 2021 with restricted hours of availability

City of Newcastle own and operate sixteen community centres and halls in the Newcastle local government area. Seven of these facilities are managed by community organisations, and nine facilities are directly managed City of Newcastle.
Fees and charges:
Fees are reviewed annually and may be subject to change on adoption of the revised Fee Schedule by Council.

** Henderson Park Hall maximum capacity due to structural issues; No physically active hires allowed, at any time
