National Park

National Park is one of our city’s largest and oldest sportsgrounds and open space reserves. Most Novocastrians have spent time at National Park, which is home to a range of community facilities including sportsgrounds, netball courts, croquet courts and greenspace.

Frequently asked questions

The National Park Netball Courts are currently closed to the public to enable necessary maintenance work to be undertaken. The work includes resurfacing and repairing the asphalt and applying new surface coating and line marking. The work will run for approximately 12 weeks and will be finished before the commencement of the Netball season. 

The work at the National Park Netball Courts is being funded by Newcastle Netball Association. This project is supported by City of Newcastle.
