Summerhill is now cashless

Summerhill Waste Management Centre is now a cash-free facility.

Effective Monday 28 March, we no longer accept payment by coin, banknote or cheque.

The transition to wholly cashless payment is part of our continued effort to improve customer experience, including limiting the transmission of surface-borne germs and reducing wait times at the weighbridge. Electronic transactions take about a quarter of the time to process at the weighbridge than cash payments.

When you visit us at Summerhill, you'll still be able to pay using most major types of credit or debit card—such as Visa, Mastercard or American Express—including the mobile wallet on your smart phone or device.
